Christian Brothers Academy Crew continued the team's rich tradition of medaling at the Garden State Rowing Championships on April 27.

On a cool morning at Cooper River Park, four boats earned gold medals, while two more boats added bronze medals.

The winners included:

Senior 4+ - Mark Giacona, Quin Avery, Anthony Tapinis, Henry DiVita & Andre Govignon

Lightweight 4+ - Randall Jenks, Kieran Feeney, Austin Zampitella, Christian Johnson & Amani Borders

Junior 4+ - Andrew Yachmetz, Robert Earle, John Keavey, William Vieth & Connor Burke

Novice 4+ - Jack O'Connor, Stephen Cook, Vincent Armenti, Rian Duka & Preston DeMarco

Impressively, the four race wins meant that CBA swept the championship titles in the coxed fours.

The Garden State Championships opens a stretch of big regattas for CBA Crew. They will compete in the Philadelphia City Championships, the Stotesbury Regatta, and the Scholastic Nationals during the month of May.
