Last night the basketball teams played against the Fuquay-Varina Bengals. The men traveled away while the women played at home. The women continue their dominate, undefeated streak to move to 7-0 after a 54-31 win against the Bengals. The men remain undefeated in the conference and 6-1 overall after defeating the Bengals 74-59.
Rachel Argabright and Nia Washington led the women in points last night. Leading scorers of the men’s game were Alex Clinkscales with 19 points, Chuck Hills 14, Ryan Shaffer and Will Harkins with 13 points each. The boys lead the SWAC, and are ranked 28th in the state. The women are also first in the SWAC and the team is ranked 3rd in the state.
