When you define leadership on the basketball court, Conor Andree represents all that a team could ask for.
The standout senior captain put together his best season as a CBA Colt, propelling the team to a 17th Shore Conference Championship.
Andree showed his leadership on and off the court, as the Colts introduced several new faces to the program since the end of 2025. In addition to head coach Brian Lynch, Andree helped key transfers acclimate to CBA and the program.
Once on the court, the new faces helped Andree take his game to the next level.
“They were a huge impact, having [guard Izayah Cooper] kind of run the offense,” Andree said. “Coach Lynch’s new offense has having me outside a lot, he calls that the command center just runs things out there and it opens up a lot of opportunities for me.”
The four-year Colt has had his best year yet, averaging nearly 11 points, 5.5 rebounds, and shooting 61 percent from the field. His rebounding and field goal percentage were tops on the team.
In that Shore Conference title game. Andree had 14 points and six rebounds, giving the Colts a steady presence when they needed it the most.
“I was glad that I was able to come out and play the way I did this year,” he said. “I am glad we were able to win and I think all of my teammates played a huge part in that.”
He is leaving the future of CBA Basketball in good hands, as several key starters will return next season. Of course, he is proud to be hanging up the CBA jersey with a Shore Conference trophy in hand.
“[This team] is going to be great,” he said about his underclassmen teammates. “Keep on the path and keep grinding.”
