Like clockwork, Christian Brothers Academy topped yet another NJSIAA Non-Public A South Sectional Tournament.

The Colts bested second-place Pingry by 18 shots to earn their seventh consecutive sectional championship.

Senior Jack Puma was the individual champion at 2-under-70. Fellow senior Evan Sorensen was one shot behind in second place.

Junior Jack O'Connor, last year's sectional individual winner, tied his teammates for eighth overall. O'Connor, Anthony LaRosa and Jack Stamberger all shot a 79, giving CBA five golfers in the top 10.

CBA's 299 team score was the best across both Non-Public A and B, which was played at the same time on the Mountain View Golf Club Course in Ewing.

The victory qualifies CBA for the NJSIAA Non-Public A State Championship on May 13 at Raritan Valley Country Club in Bridgewater.

In dual matches, CBA was the only undefeated team in the Shore Conference at 8-0.
