A full team effort was needed for CBA Indoor Track & Field to continue their streak at the Shore Conference Championship.

The Colts needed consistent big efforts from every aspect of the roster to clinch their 13th straight conference title on January 25.

CBA’s two individual winners were junior Joe Barrett in the 1600m and senior Alex Kemp in the 3200m, while seven more events featured top-four finishes. Barrett was the runner-up to Kemp's win in the 3200m, while senior Conor Clifford was second to Barrett in the 1600m.

CBA's 4x400 meter relay finished second, while junior Albert Yodakis took third place in the shot put.

These efforts helped the Colts edge second place Toms River North in the team standings. It was the 28th overall Shore title in indoor track history.

The conference victory came just four days after CBA won a 14th consecutive Monmouth County Championship.

Three huge performances on the field side propelled the Colts to this win. Senior William Feddeler won the pole vault, Yodakis finished second in the shot put and senior Tristan McFarlane was third in the high jump.

Junior Ryan Schmitt finished second in the 3200m and senior Aidan Cale notched third in the 400m dash to highlight the efforts on the track.

With the conference and county meets in the rear view mirror, the Colts will now prepare for the Non-Public A State Championship on February 16 in Toms River.
