Christian Brothers Academy Swimming has been the king of Monmouth County swimming since 1991 and this winter was no different.

The Colts secured their 32nd consecutive Monmouth County Championship on January 7 at Neptune Aquatic Center.

CBA was paced by impressive performances from seniors Luke Condon and Kiernan Leary, who each won two events. Condon topped the 50 and 100 freestyle, while Leary was first in the 200 and 500 freestyle. Condon's 50 freestyle time of 21.10 was a new Monmouth County record.

Condon was also a part of CBA's winning 200 freestyle relay squad with Bryce Wilkens, Maximilian Maycher and John Donnelly. The relay team set a new county record with a time of 1:27.58.

Wilkens won the 100 backstroke to round out the Colts' six first place events.

Leading up to the Monmouth County meet, Christian Brothers was 4-0 in dual meets, including a win over St. John's Prep (MA) during a trip to the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

CBA will swim in the Shore Conference Championship on February 3.
