Coming off a sectional final win last November, Christian Brothers Academy Soccer has wasted no time returning to their winning ways this fall.

The Colts have outscored opponents 25-7 through seven games, jumping out to a 6-1 start this season. CBA's only loss came in the final seconds of a battle with La Salle College High School (PA) on the road.

Christian Brothers has secured division wins over Long Branch, Middletown North, Freehold Township and Howell, while also defeating conference foe St. Rose in a rematch of last November's sectional final.

On September 19, the Colts traveled back out to Pennsylvania for a showcase game against the Berkshire School (Mass.). Senior Jack D'Eletto and sophomore Dimitry Corba netted goals in the 2-0 shutout.

Senior Dylan Cupo leads CBA with six goals through seven games, while junior Daniel McNamara and sophomore Dylan Millevoi have added four goals each.

The Colts host Middletown South on September 29, before welcoming Toms River North on October 2. Prior to the game against Toms River North, CBA Soccer will host the annual Keane Cup alumni game.
