The first two weekends of racing are in the books for Christian Brothers Academy Crew with excellent results in tow.

On March 25th, CBA sent five boats to the first day of the Manny Flicks series in Philadelphia and returned home with five race winners.

The Colts won races in the varsity 4, varsity lightweight 4 and varsity lightweight 8. In the varsity 4 race, the team of Eric, Wicks, Logan Lukenda, Brian Hampton and Riley Guerrera defeated St. Peter's Prep by over 11 seconds and posted their fastest time yet.

CBA also captured race wins in the JV 8 and JV 4 on that day.

This past Sunday, CBA returned to Philly for the second day of the Manny Flicks and notched wins in five of seven races entered.

Christian Brothers once again took wins in the varsity 4 and lightweight 4. The lightweight 4 team of Garret Hegel, Kyle Wicklund, Kirin Bhattacharya and Collin Seebeck beat out Radnor and St. Joseph's Prep for the win. They also grabbed wins in the JV 4, JV 8 and freshmen 8.

The Manny Flicks series continues over the next two Sundays.
