After several years of construction, the CBA Colts were ready to show off their talents on the brand-new Sheehan Track & Field on April 15.
The CBA track & field team hosted the first-ever invitational, the Colt Team Challenge, welcoming five other schools to their new home.
The Colts bested the field of talented teams, winning by a score of 208-148.5 over second place Seton Hall Prep. La Salle College High School (PA), Westfield, Southern Regional and Ridge rounded out the competition.
Christian Brothers won four events on the day and added 11 other top-three finishes in various events.
The CBA winners included Sean Lawson '23 (400m), Conor Clifford '24 (1600m), Tristan McFarlane '24 (high jump), and Joe White '23 (long jump).
The meet featured races for all three levels: varsity, JV and freshmen.
CBA will now look forward to the Penn Relays on April 27 and 28, the Monmouth County Relays on May 4, and the Monmouth County Championships on May 10.
