The Colts wasted no time coming out of the gates fast this cross country season.

Christian Brothers Academy won its second straight Bowdoin Classic in Wappingers Falls, N.Y. on Saturday. CBA's number one state-ranked team posted a 2-4-10-12-13 finish order and averaged 16:26 as a squad.

Senior Nick Sullivan picked up right where he left off from last year, pacing the Colts and finishing second overall in the race at 16:00.07. Sophomore Joe Barrett took fourth place, senior Lucas Ward was 10th, junior Alex Kemp was 12th, and senior Zach Shroba was 13th to round out the scoring.

CBA posted 41 points to second place Union Catholic's 98 points. The Colts' team average of 16:25 was good for fourth-best in program history on the Bowdoin Classic course. In addition to the varsity race win, CBA's JV squad topped its race as well.

Christian Brothers is currently ranked as the number nine team in the country by Milesplit.com.

The team has already won four dual meets this season to extend its national record to 388 straight dual meet wins. CBA will head to the Shore Coaches Invitational on October 1, before the Manhattan Invitational on October 8.
