Christian Brothers Academy Athletics is pleased to announce that the indoor track team's 4xMile national championship squad of Brian Hill '17, Tim McInerney '19, Colin Trigani '17 and Noah Yuro '17 are the March Student-Athletes of the Month, sponsored by Tinton Falls Orthopedic & Sports Physical Therapy.

For the first time since CBA began the student-athletes of the month award in 2014, the honor goes to four students, but making an exception for a New Balance Indoor National Championship win seemed obvious.

On March 11th, Hill (4:20.4), McInerney (4:22.3), Yuro (4:21.6) and Trigani (4:21.1) won the event in 17:25.47 at the Armory in New York City. The nationals win is the fifth 4xMile championship in CBA indoor history, joining 2014, 2013, 2011 and 2001.

By winning the event, all four runners were named All-Americans as well.

"The group of four young men embraced the challenge of this race from a very early time in the season," said coach Sean McCafferty. "Each of them knew they represented CBA, our alumni and their brothers on the team. We could not ask for a better group of leaders and representatives for the CBA track team."
