Christian Brothers Academy's indoor track & field team added to its impressive history of the success in relay championships this month.

On January 14, the Colts captured the 31st Non-Public A State Relay Championship at the Bennett Center Bubble. It is the eighth consecutive win for CBA in the state relays.

CBA won five events on the day, including the 4x400, 4x800, Distance Medley Relay, junior Tristan McFarlane in the high jump, and junior Nick Williams in the shot put. The Colts were runners-up in the Sprint Medley Relay as well.

The state title comes a little over a week after CBA won the Monmouth County Relays. It was the 30th county relay victory and the 12th consecutive title.

At the county meet, the Colts were first in the 4x800, 4x400, 4x200, and Distance Medley Relay.

CBA will now look forward to the Monmouth County Championship on January 20 and the Shore Conference Championship on January 26.
