Christian Brothers Academy Athletics is pleased to announce that Richie Koehler '18 (Varsity Wrestling) and Dan Mead '18 (Varsity Track & Field) have been named the March Student-Athletes of the Month, sponsored by Tinton Falls Orthopedic & Sports Physical Therapy.
RICHIE KOEHLER | SENIOR | VARSITY WRESTLING | RED BANK, NJ
THE RUNDOWN: Richie Koehler capped off his CBA wrestling career with two more titles in the month of March. Previously winning the Shore Conference individual title in February, the 120-pounder won his third District 24 title and his third Region 6 title over the last month. After a great performance at the individual state championships, Koehler also finished ranked as the number six wrestler in the state at 120 pounds.

THE RUNDOWN: Dan Mead wrapped his indoor season at the New Balance Indoor Nationals, where he cemented himself as one of the top 50 throwers in the country. A shot put specialist, Mead completed his indoor career as the fourth-best shot put thrower in CBA history. He helped the Colts win both the state championship and Shore Conference title once again this season as well.
