Christian Brothers Academy Athletics is pleased to announce that Michael Ehnot '18 (Varsity Sailing) and Dominic Bellomo '19 (Varsity Soccer) have been named the September Student-Athletes of the Month, sponsored by Tinton Falls Orthopedic & Sports Physical Therapy.
MICHAEL EHNOT | SENIOR | VARSITY SAILING | MANASQUAN, N.J.
THE RUNDOWN: The CBA Sailing senior kicked off the new year by qualifying for his third straight Singlehanded National Championship as a Colt. Ehnot used a third place finish in the Mid-Atlantic District to advance to the Nationals, which will be held in St. Petersburg, Florida at the end of October. He also paced Christian Brothers to a fourth consecutive win at the SUNY Maritime Invitational, where he won the A Division by five points.

DOMINIC BELLOMO | JUNIOR | VARSITY SOCCER | TINTON FALLS, N.J.
THE RUNDOWN: Bellomo has been a midfield rock for defending state champion CBA Soccer in first month-plus of the season. In September, he helped lead CBA to a 9-1 record, with impressive wins over Peddie and at the Delbarton Invitational. Bellomo notched a team-leading six goals and added two assists in the month as well.
SOUNDBITE: "Dominic has been a pleasant addition to our midfield this season. He has the ability to win balls, defend, and get into the attack and finish.
