Christian Brothers Academy is home to perhaps some of the most dominant sports programs in Monmouth County history, and the indoor track team showed their muscle again this past weekend.

The program captured 2017 Monmouth County Relay Championships, their 34th relay title.

The Colts won their seventh straight county relay title with an astounding 25 team members participating in the victory. CBA won two of the biggest events of the meet as well, with Riley Gardner, Noah Yuro, Kent Anzano and Colin Trigani picking up the win in the 4x800 relay and Tim Jacoutot, Christian Berger, Colton Brooks and Brendan Bodisch winning the 4x55 hurdle relay.

"We had a total team effort to win the Monmouth County relay championships," head coach Karl Torchia said. "We had about 25 different guys participating on the varsity level to win this championship. Their years of hard work and dedication are paying off."
